Information we process

When you create an account, we process your email address, display name and authentication records. We also store your watchlist, ratings, comments and search history.

When you request a recommendation, we process your prompt, the resulting films, approximate model cost and a one-way hash derived from your IP address. The raw IP address is not stored in Sahne's application database.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, synchronize your profile, produce and improve film recommendations, prevent abuse and repeated results, moderate comments and measure operating cost.

Legal bases and the data controller

FORLYZE LTD is the data controller for Sahne. Depending on where you live, processing is based on performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in security and service improvement, compliance with legal duties, or consent where the law requires it. Processors and sources

We use service providers including Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email, OpenRouter and its search providers for recommendation generation, and movie-data sources for titles, posters and ratings. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Advertising and subscriptions

Sahne may show an optional rewarded Google AdMob ad before an AI recommendation. Consent and privacy choices are presented where required. An active Sahne Pro subscription removes these ads. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat.

Retention and security

Account content is retained while your account remains active. Security, transaction and accounting records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, tax, legal or operational obligations. Access controls, row-level security, encrypted transport and restricted server credentials are used to protect data.

Your choices and rights

You can update your list and ratings or delete your account from the profile screen. Account deletion removes your profile, watchlist, ratings and comments; de-identified security and financial records may remain where legally necessary.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. Contact bariscem@forlyze.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children and changes

Sahne is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the product or applicable law changes. Material changes will be dated on this page.
